Position Overview and Objectives Summary:
This individual is expected to serve as an "Associate QA Test Engineer," actively participating in the testing of Eurofins products. Responsibilities include manual testing of web-based applications and web services in a client–server environment, along with scripting C# code for service testing. They should take ownership of functionality, meet deadlines, and employ diverse testing flows/methods for various scenarios. Additionally, the role requires experience in functional, sanity, database, end-to-end integration, and regression testing, independently following SCRUM guidelines.
Job description:
This individual is expected to function as an "Associate QA Test Engineer," actively participating in the testing of Eurofins products.
Conduct manual testing for web-based applications and services in a client-server environment, scripting .Net code for testing. Follow processes, meet deadlines, and provide various testing flows/methods. Keep leaders informed, independently perform Sanity, Functional, End-to-End integration, and Regression testing following SCRUM guidelines. Adhere to test strategies and plans for high-quality product delivery. Collaborate with stakeholders and escalate/blocking issues promptly. Possess strong knowledge of SDLC and STLC processes, along with proficiency in .Net, SQL, and Automation using C#/ .Net.
Technical Skills:
- Proficient in Test Management processes.
- Strong knowledge of databases, SQL, and understanding of UML.
- Advantageous to have experience in functional or automation testing.
- Clear understanding and experience in Scrum methodologies.
- Experience in API testing and automation of SOAP/REST services.
