Technical and Professional Expertise Required:

•  A minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in software testing and quality assurance.

•  Demonstrated ability to design, implement, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for intricate software applications.

Airflow Testing Expertise:

•  Proficiency in crafting and executing test cases tailored for Apache Airflow workflows.

•  Experience in testing intricate data pipelines, DAGs (Directed Acyclic Graphs), and scheduler functionality within Airflow.

Technical Skills:

•  Mastery in at least one programming or scripting language (e.g., Python, Java, C#) for test automation.

•  Development of comprehensive test plans and strategies for Airflow testing, covering various scenarios and edge cases.

•  Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, testing types (functional, non-functional, regression, performance, etc.), and industry best practices.

•  Proficiency in both manual and automated testing methodologies.

•  Familiarity with test automation tools/frameworks such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or equivalents.

•  Knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner) and performance testing methodologies.

•  Understanding of continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) concepts and tools (e.g., Jenkins, Travis CI).

•  Deep knowledge of white-box and black-box testing techniques.

•  Proficient in testing databases (SQL, NoSQL) and API testing using tools like Postman or equivalents.

Testing Tools:

•  Skilled in utilizing test management tools such as Jira and TestRail, along with version control systems like Git.

•  Proficient in employing performance testing tools such as JMeter and LoadRunner to evaluate software scalability and performance.

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience:

•  Familiarity with test frameworks like Selenium and Protractor.

•  Utilization of scripting languages such as Python, Perl, PowerShell, and JavaScript for rapid script creation that seamlessly integrates into the testing stage within a pipeline.

•  Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD), Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), and Agile software development practices.
