Required Qualifications:
- Extensive hands-on expertise in test automation frameworks such as Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, or JUnit.
- Proficient in at least one programming language or scripting language, with a preference for Java.
- Previous experience with cloud-based testing services like BrowserStack or Sauce Labs.
- Familiarity with version control systems, specifically Git, for efficient code collaboration and management.
- Competence in utilizing integrated development environments (IDEs) like Eclipse or IntelliJ IDEA for the development of test scripts.
- Skills in generating, managing, and manipulating test data to address various testing scenarios.
- Demonstrated proficiency in test validation and debugging.
- Prior experience in web application and cross-browser testing.
Qualifications:
- Proficient in generating detailed test reports and logs (e.g., ExtentReports, TestNG reports).
- Familiarity with build automation tools such as Maven or Gradle for project management.
- Hands-on experience with API testing tools and techniques (e.g., Postman, REST Assured).
- Expertise in working within an onshore-offshore model.
- Familiarity with Agile-Scrum methodologies and software production release processes.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of visual validation tools like Applitools and Percy.
- Understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for effective interaction with web elements.
- Strong grasp of Software Quality Assurance (SQA) concepts and practices for continual risk assessment and product quality evaluation.
- Passionate about learning new technologies.
