Key Responsibilities:

1. Conduct business process testing to support the quality control of functional or cross-functional systems and applications in alignment with Parexel Operational and Parexel Quality Management strategies.


2. Oversee the selection or creation of pertinent testing scenarios, ensuring they accurately represent realistic operational business conditions.


3. Document and report tests and results to stakeholders, making them available for the specification of user instructions.


Quality assurance:

Review software functional requirements and designs for quality.

Compose and execute functional and non-functional test plans/cases in an agile setting.

Evaluate internally developed software and commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) products to guarantee software delivery quality.

Ensure adherence to SOPs, lifecycle methodologies, and regulatory requirements during software testing.


Additional Responsibilities:


  •  Demonstrate proficiency in software quality assurance processes and adhere to best practices in software testing.


  •  Execute project tasks within specified timelines while maintaining required quality standards.


  •  Maintain open communication with manager(s), keeping them informed of work progress and addressing any issues proactively.


  •  Thoroughly analyze bugs and errors discovered during tests, document results, verify resolved defects, and track reported bugs.


  •  Collaborate effectively within the team and demonstrate the ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision.


  •  Provide accurate time estimates for assigned deliverables and ensure timely completion.

Skills and Expertise:


Mandatory expertise in system implementation and Part 11 validation.

Proven background in Clinical Development & Delivery or related fields.

Familiarity with GxP compliance is essential.
Strong command of verbal and written English.
Demonstrated proficiency in test case design and strategy.

Experience in reviewing requirements and functional specifications.

3-5 years of software testing experience, adept at determining test cases for diverse scenarios.

1-2 years of SQL experience, with knowledge of data warehousing concepts.

Education:


Degree-level education required (B.S. in Computer Science preferred, or equivalent in technology, biological science, or relevant field). Alternatively, equivalent qualification or significant clinical research experience.


Required qualifications:


  •  Practical software industry experience in Software Quality and Test Engineering, specifically for Web and/or client/server applications.


  •  Proficient in Software Quality and Test activities, including writing, updating, and executing test cases.


  •  Familiarity with Web Automation using Selenium WebDriver with Java, along with skills in process improvement and performance testing.
